Highland Park began a digital artwork program within
our regular art program last year. We purchased 3
electronic graphics tablet systems, which each utilize a
painting stylus (a pen-like tool) & an electronic
drawing tablet instead of a mouse.
The tablets can be used with all paint & graphic
illustration programs. The idea is to begin preparing
students for a livelihood in a graphics-intensive
computer, internet, media, or advertising-based career.
